🧊 Winter Wraps Up. 🌱 Spring Awakens. 🔎 Opportunity Builds.
✨ FAMILY & HOME UPDATE
March brought a mix of celebration, transition, and anticipation as winter began to loosen its grip and signs of spring slowly emerged.
We had the joy of celebrating Henk’s birthday this month, marked by a thoughtful surprise from Emese with tickets to an unforgettable afternoon at Koerner Hall in Toronto. We enjoyed a stunning performance by Chanticleer, Henk’s favourite choral ensemble and widely regarded as one of the finest vocal groups in the world. It was a meaningful and memorable way to celebrate.
As the season shifted, ski Fridays came to a close, wrapping up another winter of time spent together on the slopes. At the same time, we were honoured to be recognized as Top Producers for the month of February, something we are especially grateful for given the typically slower pace of the winter market.
March also marked an exciting step forward professionally, as Henk has joined the Royal LePage Commercial program. This is a meaningful expansion of our services, allowing us to better serve clients with commercial real estate needs and those looking to grow and manage real estate investments.
On a lighter note, Henk’s side project, @therealsocksguy, has been a fun creative outlet, posting daily socks paired with dad jokes. If you haven’t seen it yet, it is worth a look for a quick laugh.
Music continues to shape much of our rhythm of life. At Winona Gospel Church, we have been preparing for Good Friday and Easter Sunday services, a season that is always deeply meaningful. If you do not yet have plans, you are warmly invited to join us at 10am on Good Friday and again at 10am on Resurrection Sunday as we reflect on the work of Christ and celebrate His victory over sin and death.

🛠️ WHAT WE’RE SEEING ON THE GROUND
The pattern we have been describing over the past few months continues, but with increasing clarity. Well-priced properties are selling, regardless of price point, and the data is now strongly confirming what we are experiencing day to day.
Inventory has come down, homes are selling more quickly, and overall activity has increased significantly. Interestingly, while the median price has dipped, the average price has remained essentially unchanged. This suggests that a higher volume of more affordable homes sold in March, while at the same time, more higher-end properties are beginning to transact as well.
In other words, the market is becoming more active across multiple price points. With buyers re-engaging and activity picking up as the weather improves, this may be an early signal of the spring market beginning to take shape. While it is still early, the increase in showing activity and renewed energy from buyers suggests that momentum is building.
If you are exploring commercial opportunities or real estate investing, we would be happy to connect and help you navigate that space with clarity.

🕯️ A REFLECTION FOR THE SEASON
We are currently experiencing some significant changes in our lives, both personally and professionally. While seasons of change can often feel uncertain or even uncomfortable, one thing has become increasingly clear to us: God is at work.
In these moments, we are reminded that God is good, all the time. We are also learning more deeply the difference between faith and trust. Faith is believing that God is able. Trust is leaning on Him fully, knowing that He is working all things for His glory and for our good.
Even in seasons that stretch us, we can rest in the assurance that nothing is wasted, and that He is faithfully leading us where we need to go.
