And just like that, the 2024 season came to a close. What an amazing holiday season it was. We were blessed to host 41 people for a festive dinner, celebrating Christmas with some really amazing people. When reflecting on the year past, we can respond in one of three ways: We could complain about the

Our front entrance is quite inviting during this festive season, and we’d love to have you walk through it! You are warmly invited through our front door so we can offer you a cup of cheer—whether that’s coffee, latte, hot chocolate, wine, mulled wine, eggnog, or any other festive treat! We (Emese especially!) love hosting

It’s no secret that we love music. We’re both passionate about choral music, and if you’ve never heard Emese sing, you’re missing out. More recently, we started a choir at our church in Winona, and Emese has begun conducting for the first time in her musical journey, while Henk accompanies as the church organist. At

September was a whirlwind! As much as we enjoy the flexibility and spontaneity of the summer months, getting back into the regularly scheduled programming was a welcome change. Both of our children started Grade 10 this year, each experiencing new “firsts”. Our daughter was invited to join the praise band, which leads the music in

We do more than sell real estate! 😃 When we’re not selling, we’re singing! Emese is an accomplished soprano vocalist and since last September, she has also been conducting a small choir at our home church, Winona Gospel Church. By the way, if you’re reading this, you’re invited to join us for worship on Sunday

After nearly two years of declining house prices, sellers want some good news. Typically, April Fool’s Day is loaded with practical jokes. This time though, we have good news, and we’re not kidding when we say that now is a great time to sell. (Insert eye roll here. 🙄 Don’t realtors always say that? Maybe,

Every time we show homes to our buyers, we are “wet rags”, as it were. We prepare our buyers for this before we take them to see anything. They know, right out of the gate, that we’re not going to be selling them on anything that they see. In fact, we warn them of our
