April was a whirlwind month filled with exciting milestones in both our professional and personal lives. From real estate wins to family achievements and music ministry, we’re taking a moment to reflect before diving into what’s ahead.
🏆 Business Highlight: Top Producing Team
We were incredibly honoured to be named the Top Producing team in our office once again. This recognition is a reflection of the trust our amazing clients continue to place in us, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you!
🎶 Good Friday and Easter: Music With Meaning
Our month was also filled with preparation for Good Friday and Easter services at our church. Emese conducted the choir for our Good Friday service, while Henk accompanied on the organ and led the congregational singing on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Together, we helped lead worship that reflected the depth and beauty of Christ’s suffering, death, and resurrection. It was a powerful reminder of the hope we have in Him.
🏸 Family Life: Badminton Brilliance
Our teenagers had a packed schedule this month, and we couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments. This was the first year our daughter played, and she experienced success in qualifying for and playing in the Zone Championship in mixed doubles. Our son and his doubles partner placed third overall at OCSSAA, helping his school take first place among 23 Christian schools across Ontario, and went on to place second at SOSSA, the highest level of high school junior boys’ badminton in Ontario. The energy, discipline, and teamwork they showed were truly inspiring.

🏡 April Market Update: Pensive but Promising
“Pensive” is probably the best word to describe the market in the greater Hamilton area, and by many accounts, throughout Southern Ontario. Though buyer confidence was slowly building in April, what we heard from them was often a hesitation to pull the trigger due to the uncertainty of our national economical and political landscape as we approached the federal election.
Despite that, our buyers were and are still active, seizing great opportunities as they come along. Our sellers also experienced success in the month of April, having priced their property at market value, and taking advantage of our full service staging. The listings looked great, and while many other listings became stale on the market, our listings were very active and are all selling at market value or better within a relatively short time.
